We are proud to present our TMS clinical results for Major Depressive Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Our data was reviewed and accepted for poster presentation by the American Psychiatric Association and the Clinical TMS Society Annual Meetings, May 2016, in Atlanta, GA.
Summary of TMS Clinical Results
- Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation was safe, effective and well-tolerated in the treatment of 123 patients diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder from our clinical practice.
- On average, patients have failed over 3.9 medications during their current episode of depression, indicating a treatment-resistant population.
- Over 76% of patients had significant improvement of their symptoms compared to baseline, while 72.4% of patients achieved remission from their depression.
- Long-term data revealed patients who achieved remission from TMS had an 8 in 10 chance of maintaining remission at over four years, demonstrating strong durability.
Our data also showed similar efficacy in the treatment of Generalized Anxiety Disorder with low-frequency, right-sided TMS therapy, with 60.0% of patients achieving remission. The data also shows ~70.0% of patients maintained wellness at one year following TMS.
